Ceramics: White Slip

Applying White Slip.

I initially envisioned my ceramic forms being a crisp white colour and decided the best way to create this look would be to create a white slip. When looking through a ceramic book containing recipes i found a page which showed me the ingredients used to create a simple white slip, i followed the recipe and created the slip which i then had to apply to all my ceramic forms, my slip had to be applied using a soft brush so that no brush marks would be left on my forms when they are eventually fired.
