Textiles: Editing

Original Print.
I previously chose the print pictured above as a possible Tropical Forest print, i have used photoshop to edit this print a number of times and i have now produced a collection of possible alternative designs.

1st Edit.
To produce this first edit i played around with the colours hue and saturation, i like the colours produced on the print as a feel they represent the word tropical really well.

2nd Edit.
I carried on changing my first edited print and used a smudge tool to slightly blend my prints colours together, the results of this are shown in my second edit above.

3rd Edit.
I again edited my original using a charcoal effect and created this third design, i feel this design looks slightly like germs or cells being seen under a microscope.

4th Edit.
I used a number of effects including chalk to produce this fourth design, however i feel this edit is too dark to be used as part of my Tropical Forest collection.

5th Edit.
For my fifth and final edit i used neon effects, i see a connection between this print and my ceramic designs as this print reminds me of cloud formations, however i don't feel this neon effect is appropriate for my Tropical Forest collection.
