Textiles: Experimenting

I again collected a piece of paper used under the heat press when creating a previous heat press print, this particular piece was kept as i felt it reminded me of a tropical leaf as the grains in between the inks used made it look rather 3D and the colours used also appealed to me.

Using a scanner i created a few small versions of my paper sample above and placed them along side each other to see if i could create more wallpaper styled pattern (pictured below), although it is not professionally aligned i like how this design could possibly look when done properly, i may come back to this design when i have finished experimenting to edit it slightly using photoshop etc.
