Textiles: Experimenting

Using lilac, green and blue disperse dyes i decided to paint randomly onto the paper stencil created from cutting out my leaf shapes for my previous heat press experiment, i placed this stencil onto my silky fabric and then placed a piece of paper covered in black disperse dyes over the top before closing the heat press, the photo below shows the finished result.

I again cut random shapes out of paper and used green and purple disperse dyes on them before placing them under the heat press and onto my silky fabric and random pieces of string, i then added a piece of paper over the top covered in pink, blue and purple dye, the photograph below shows the finished sample.
