Textiles: Experimenting

I used a wooden stick to apply brown direct dyes randomly onto my fabric, once dry i then overlapped rectangular shaped paper stencils onto my fabric before placing pieces of ripped up photocopy paper covered in purple and black disperse dyes over the top, these were then placed under the heat press to create my finished print. The photograph above shows my end result, i am pleased with the fragmented effect that has been created under my stencils and feel the brown lines on top give off a good electric neon vibe.
