Textiles: Experimenting

Sample.

I used green, purple and yellow disperse dyes to create feather like imagery onto my fabric using the heat press, i then placed a number of rectangular shaped stencils across my fabric before placing my used silk screen from my previous print over the top, i then used the same luminous lime green pigment dye also from my previous print to produce my finished sample. The photograph above shows the outcome of my experiment, even though i initially intended this print to be part of my electric neon collection of samples i feel the disperse dye imagery in the background is reminiscent of tropical leaves and trees.
