Sketch Ideas.

The photograph above shows a quick sketch i created using my visual research from my electric neon mood board, i realised that my design that was inspired purely from an image of an octopus was reminiscent of Indian henna tattoo designs and i may look further into Indian tattoo designs for more inspiring patterns and imagery. 

Sample.

Using scissors i created a few paper stencils in the shape of my sketches above, almost like octopus tentacles, i placed my stencils under a silk screen and used navy coloured poly print dyes to create the first layer of my print. To create the second and third layers i repeatedly moved my paper stencils around before using both aqua and lime green poly print dyes over the top, the photo above shows the outcome of my experiment, although i like this print i could work into it more or use photoshop later on to enhance it.
