Textiles: Experimenting

I decided to take my spider print design to another level by creating mono prints using manutex, to create the print above i painted my design directly onto my silk screen using manutex and a paintbrush creating a blocked area over the screen almost like a stencil, i then placed a yellow piece of fabric which had been dyed in the dye baths under my silk screen and used black pigment dye to create the first layer of my print. I moved my piece of fabric around slightly and placed the screen back on top before using a lime green pigment dye over the top, the manutex design takes time to come of the screen which allows me to create multiple prints using the same design.
